Track 1 being the first track on the #IMP002 release straight out of Impo Studio Inc. Port Elizabeth by. Jay Sour.

" This track featured the talented Brandon Lee Scholtz, a friend of mine or actually, my sister's. I was looking to variate from my normal go to's in the studio, with my other projects being Neuro Drum and Bass orientated or basically not focusing on a vocal aspect carrying a story line in the music, this was the start to the Modern Conspiracies album as well as to a good friendship that extended outside the work place. Upon the river was written with the intention to be a dance song but also capute the timeless element of love for our natural surroundings and never ending push for self perfection no matter the circumstances. Funny thing is before we started recording and before I met Brandon, I had based the Story around the beauty of a river, not know by chance he resided on the river bank in and area called, Cholchester at Sunday's River in 20km outside Port Elizabeth. It was a privilege to work with Brandon and I feel he nailed it on this song, thus leading to further collaborations with him later in the journey which was the Modern Conspiracies Album. "
